I am a native of western Missouri and finished my graduate degrees in my hometown at Central Missouri State University. Following an opportunity to do research at the Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Alabama--Birmingham, I attended the University of Alabama School of Medicine and made Alabama my home. I completed my residency at the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa where I had the honor of serving as Chief Resident during my last year.
After completing my residency, I practiced in southern Alabama for nearly four years before joining Montgomery Family Medicine. I am board certified to practice Family Medicine and have been certified as a Medical Review Officer. Additionally, I have an interest in industrial medicine. I hope to bring to Montgomery Family Medicine a diversity of knowledge and experience.
My patients can expect attentive, practical and cost effective care. I look forward to developing a long lasting relationship with my patients, my community and my colleagues.
My life is driven by discipline and commitment; I am strengthened by serving God and by my relationship with my wife Molly and our three children. I have always enjoyed being versatile and hope to pursue other fields of interest such as softball, basketball, medical illustration and playing the trombone.
