I am an Alabama native and consider Montgomery my hometown. I attended Sidney Lanier High School. I completed an undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. My medical school training was at the University of Alabama School of Medicine. I pursued my residency training at the Tuscaloosa Family Practice Residency Program, where I received the William F. Deshazo Award for exemplary performance in Family Medicine. I am board certified by the American Board of Family Practice. I chose family medicine as my specialty because of the rich diversity of patients. I enjoy the opportunity to follow patients and their families through all stages of their lives.
My main personal interest is the care of my family. I have a wonderful wife, Jennifer, and we have four children. We strive to serve God in all that we do. I am a sports fan and enjoy a variety of sporting activities. I have an interest in music and play the guitar when time allows. I have enjoyed being able to serve the medical needs of Montgomery's families and look forward to the many special relationships that will be developed over the time of my practice here.
